Not one percent of profit. One percent of everything we earn, from the first dollar, in the years that are good and the years that are not.
What it funds
Financial literacy.
Almost nobody is taught how money actually works. Most of us pick it up late, by accident, or by expensive mistake. We fund the teaching, and we fund it for people who likely will never be our clients.
Regenerative projects.
Work that leaves land, water, or a community better than it was found, which is the standard we hold for a legacy.
How it is governed
LivWeal® Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) entity from the practice that earns the money. It has its own governance and makes its own decisions, and no grant is ever made to serve LivWeal®. Nobody buys their way into consideration, and no grantee owes us anything.
We are not going to tell you this makes us good. One percent is a small thing done consistently. It is part of our own legacy, and it is the part we say least about.
