How We Work
Whatever brought you here, the question is usually the same.
Who am I now? What is this next chapter for?
These questions arrive quietly, usually after something has ended, or is about to.
Where we fit
Your attorney, your wealth manager and your advisors take care of what you have, and what becomes of it. We work on what you want your life to be now, alongside them, never instead of them.
Two steps, taken in order
First, clarity: who you are now, and what you actually want.
Then, expression: what you do about it, in how you live your days and in what you choose to build.
Done in that order, the previous chapter gets finished well. And the next one is yours, by design.
Who this is for
The people we work with have usually built something that mattered. A company, a career, a family, a body of work. Often more than one.
They arrive from very different places. What they share is a question that calls for a different kind of decision. More information will not settle it, and neither will a better plan. Getting to what is true, and then to what is right, asks you to be clear about who you are now and what you actually want, and to choose from there.
That clarity is what we help people reach, and what they design the next chapter from.
The people we work best with come to it willing, ready, and courageous.
And sometimes the honest answer is not yet. If something in your life needs care more than it needs design, we will say so, and we will help you find the right person for it.
Where people begin.
The Whole Picture
For when you need to see the truth of what is happening for you, in the middle of a transition.
A clear look at where you have been, what you have built, what has ended, and what you are carrying.
A full reading of the six key parts of your life, using our Wholistic Wealth Method™.
Clarity on where you are now, why, and what comes next.
And Your Whole Picture, written and bound, yours to keep.
When we are done, if you do not have that clarity, we will give you your money back. No questions asked.
Two to four weeks. Three conversations with one guide, scheduled to accommodate your life.
Couples and families can do this together, each with their own private conversations, and then one facilitated conversation together.
Finishing Well
For when something has ended and you want to mark it in a way that is meaningful to you and completes that chapter well.
A personal experience of your own design, which we help you shape, plan, and facilitate.
A chapter finished well, and a renewed appetite for what comes next.
What you built and what you carried is acknowledged in full.
We will never hand you a form to follow. We help you find the way to mark this that is truly yours.
Four to six weeks. Conversations to design it, then the experience itself, on a date you choose.
On your own, or with others.
Life and Legacy Design
For when you are ready to shape the next chapter, and there is more in play than anyone can see clearly on their own.
First, clarity: who you are now, how you want to live, and what is yours to give.
Then the design itself: the life you want to live, the project you want to build, or both.
A life designed is your days, on purpose. The shape of a week and the shape of a year. Where you are, who is in it, how you are of service and how you rest, what you say yes to now, and what you no longer do. Together we design it on paper. Then you live it for a season and adjust, until it is a life you love living.
A legacy project is what you build with everything you are and know. A foundation, a book, a company run on different terms, a fund, a school, a piece of land, a body of work. We help you shape it and plan it honestly: what it will ask of you in time, money, people and attention, and what it will give back. Then you decide its first phase, and whether you build it on your own or with us alongside you.
Most people choose one. Some do both, and when they do, the life is designed first, because a project built on an undesigned life quietly becomes the life.
A design for what comes next, in your own words, and the first step already taken. Written and bound, yours to keep.
You will leave clear on what you want next, with the design in your hands and the first step taken. If the conversations we planned do not get you there, the rest are on us.
Four to six months, with every date set at the start. One guide throughout.
On your own, as a couple, or with a family or team.
Legacy in Motion
For when the design is done, and it is time to build.
The project is yours, and it stays yours. You chair it, and you decide everything. We conduct.
We find the people your first phase needs and bring them to one table, for one day, with you at the head of it. Then we stay beside you as your strategist, coordinator, and partner until that phase is reached, so the work keeps moving and never quietly becomes another job.
Your first phase reached, and a table of people who know your project and can be called on again.
And the plan itself, named and dated, written and bound.
The right people in the right place, and the first phase reached. If we are not there by the date we set together, we keep working until we are, at no further cost.
Four to eight months. The table within the first six weeks, then the phase itself, with every date set at the start.
It begins when your design is done. If you arrive already holding a project, we look at the design first.
Dear Money, Let's Talk
For when there is a conversation about money you need to have.
Your advisors manage the money. This is about your relationship with it, and the conversations it has been waiting on.
It works from the inside out. First, what your money actually is to you: where it came from, what it does to you, how you behave with it, and what you have never said out loud about it. Said once, in full, and truly heard. Almost nobody has ever done that about money.
Then outward: the people, the papers, and the purpose: who needs to hear from you, what is not yet signed, and what you want your money to do.
Clean and clear with money.
The conversations had, or on the calendar. Nothing left unsigned without a date and someone seeing it through.
Your money philosophy, in your own hand.
Nothing about your money left unsaid, unsigned, or unsettled. You will know what you want your money to do, and so will the people it touches. If something we should have found surfaces within the year, the conversation to settle it is on us.
About four months. Ten conversations, including a day and a half in person, with every date set at the first.
Alone, as a couple, or with your family. It can begin whenever the time is right.
LivWeal® Collective
For when the new life is underway, and you want to be among people living the same way.
Everything else on this page ends. This does not.
This is where the life you designed gets lived, and where what you are building keeps moving, among people going about it the same way.
Four things, through the year. A private conversation each season with your guide, on what is moving, what the design is asking of you now, and what the project needs next. A circle of six to eight, matched and kept together all year, where you bring the real thing: the decision in front of you, the part of the build that is stuck, the week that got away from you. Two gatherings. And people you can call when something happens, with the right ones around it inside a week.
Nothing is taught here, and nobody is coached.
People whose lives may not look like yours, but who go about them the same way, and who never need your story retold.
A design that stays true and a project that keeps moving, because someone is in it with you every season.
And somewhere to bring the next threshold, before you have worked out what to do about it.
You will keep living the life you designed, and building what you set out to build, among people going about it the same way.
And when the next threshold comes, you will not walk it alone: you will have somewhere to bring it, and people who understand it without you having to explain.
A year at a time, renewed by you and never automatically.
By invitation only.
Not everyone needs all of these, and they do not have to be taken in order. Some people have already closed the previous chapter well. Some are clear on their life and want the project moving. Where you begin is what we work out together, in the first conversation.
However you arrive, it begins with a conversation.
Not ready for a conversation? What This Moment Is: six questions, three minutes, and a letter back.
