What We Believe at LivWeal
You've built a life most people only imagine. The company. The career. The family. The wealth. You know how to set your sights on something and make it a reality.
And lately, maybe at the close of one chapter or the start of another, you are asking new kinds of questions:
You can be grateful for all of it, and still ask.
We believe these kinds of personal questions are inner whispers of a deeper longing for more meaning. That longing marks the beginning of what can be the richest chapter of your life: a legacy you get to design and enjoy.
The beliefs that follow come from years of sitting with accomplished people at exactly this kind of threshold.
We believe a turning point is not a problem to be solved.
The sale. The succession. The emptiness of a full house gone quiet. The end of a relationship or the beginning of a new one. These are thresholds with both exits and entrances, and we believe a threshold deserves more than a plan: it deserves a crossing, made with everything you’ve become and hold dear, along with all you now have and all you now know, in service of a deeper purpose.
We believe in a lived legacy.
A legacy is often defined as an inheritance, something of value passed on. We believe the most beautiful inheritance is a lived legacy: a life so intentional, and lived so fully, that its impact is felt generations on.
We believe legacy is more than the estate and the name on the building. It is also, and first, the life you are living right now: the choices you make, what you give your time and attention to, who receives your love and knows it, what your example endows and imbues.
And a legacy lived this way reaches far beyond your own lifetime: people who will likely never know your name will be better off because of how you lived and what you sent forward. That’s the real scale of a legacy.
We believe in Wholistic Wealth.
To be “wealthy”, at the word’s origin, is to be well in your whole life. Somewhere along the way, the definition narrowed to the one currency that can be counted: money, assets, possessions. That measuring stick was handed to all of us. A life measured with the wrong stick can be rich and still feel poor. We believe the original definition was the true one, so we’ve restored it. We call it Wholistic Wealth, and we spell it with a W because it means whole. Being well in your whole life is true wealth.
We measure wealth in six currencies: energetic, emotional, mental, relational, somatic, financial. Why six? Because we believe a life, at its heart, is made of what you give and receive. These six currencies are what a life is spent in, and nourished by. A life rich in one and poor in the rest is not wealthy.
Wealthy in every aspect of life: that's what we help people build, because Wholistic Wealth is the architecture a legacy is built and lived within.
It's why we carry the name we do.
The power of conversation.
The conversations that shape this special chapter come in three kinds.
These don't happen in any set order. Often it's the third that opens the other two, and it's the one we've built our work around. Because nothing significant is ever built alone. And alone, we can only hear what we already know. It's in being truly heard and engaged that the deeper answers come clear.
That's why the first thing we offer anyone is exactly that:
Your next two steps, taken in order.
First, clarity: of everything you've lived, built, and learned, what matters enough to send forward? You cross a threshold with everything you've become, but not with everything you've been carrying. Clarity is choosing what continues with you, what ends with gratitude, and what is meant to grow beyond you. Naming those choices is where design begins.
Then, expression: the shape it takes, and the way you'll live it.
For some, it becomes a legacy project, and those come in many forms: a venture, a foundation, a body of work, a book or a documentary, a gathering, an investment in what should exist, a place, a family made stronger.
For others, a life design: purposefully crafting how you want to live this next chapter, from how you spend your days to what you build them around. The home you dream of building, the child you decide to have, the garden that becomes your masterpiece, the storyteller you become.
For many, it's both: a legacy project, held inside a life designed well.
Everything we offer exists to help you find your answers, and then to live them well.
There's a method to how we walk these two steps with you, deliberate and structured, one step at a time. You can see our approach in the offerings.
We believe wealth is for living.
How much is enough? We believe enough is a life with nothing important left unlived.
And a fully lived life is more than leisure. The rest, the travel, the long mornings: this special chapter deserves all of them. But joy deepens when it's rooted in what matters: the people you love, a purpose that pulls you forward, a contribution only you can make. Those who sit with people at the end of life report the same thing, again and again: the regret is rarely what went unaccomplished. It's what went unlived.
We believe you should understand our role.
This work picks up where questions of financial survival leave off, and it works alongside the professionals you already trust. Your estate attorney, wealth manager, and advisors keep their roles; we strengthen them. We place money as one currency of six, held in service of your life and legacy. We see it all the time: the estate plan waits, the financial plan never quite gets followed, the decisions that keep getting postponed. When your legacy and life design are clear, the plans have something true to serve, the decisions become clearer and more meaningful, and everyone at your table works from the same blueprint.
We do this work in partnership: what we build together becomes yours, and you'll never need us to keep living it. Yet, you don’t have to be alone, as many continue on here, in the camaraderie of peers designing and living their legacies together.
Our full commitments live on our Ethics page, kept where you can see them.
The ‘someday’ you were saving the best for…is here.
