Where he stood

On paper, he had everything going for him. A successful career. A name his community respected. A marriage he had spent years trying to hold together, and could not.

Then, inside eighteen months, four thresholds opened at once. The divorce. A new home to buy. A major step up in his career. The last child leaving the house. And he had never once lived alone.

“I’m not well.”

What he chose

Most people would have treated that as four emergencies. We treated it as one question: Who is he now, apart from the roles that are ending?

So we began with The Whole Picture. What matters most to him. What has always been true of him. What he wants next, and why. Only then did we turn to the house, the career, or the money. Once he knew who was making the decisions, the decisions got easier.

Next came Finishing Well, so the chapter that was closing could end well, and in a way entirely his own.

Then Life and Legacy Design. He designed the life he wants to live from here, and we guided it: the career he chose, the home, and the people he wants to welcome into his life and his family, each chosen as carefully as the rest.

Before he left, he sat for a photo shoot. Then, this fall, the man who had never once lived alone took himself to Europe, on his own, by choice. This week, his dating profile went live.

This is what it looks like when the person living the life knows exactly who he is.

In his words

“I love being with myself.”
